My name is Steve Peterman and this is my action sports photo website.

I have been doing photography for 19 years. I started out doing nature and landscapes in 1997. My wife to be at the time, Suzanne, was a wedding photographer doing 25 to 30 weddings a year.

We got married in 1997 and together, started Peterman Photography, providing wedding and family photography. 

In 2000 we expanded to include Senior portraits, and sports memory mates for schools and summer sports leagues programs.

In 1999 we were asked to photograph the International Fast Pitch Softball World Series, in Sioux City Iowa.

I have been hooked on sports action photography ever since.

As an award winning photographer from the South Dakota Newspaper Association, as well as other local and regional organizations, I have been providing freelance photography since 2002.
